Anti-Vape Campagin Talk
5 February 2026 – We had the privilege of inviting a representative from the National Council Against Drug Abuse (NCADA) to Helix for an anti-vaping awareness talk to educate residents on the realities of vape use and its associated consequences.
Upon arrival, residents were given anti-vaping stickers as part of the campaign. The session provided a comprehensive overview of vaping culture, addiction, and its effects on both physical health and daily life. Through sharing facts, explanations, and real-life examples, the speaker addressed common misconceptions and highlighted the risks associated with vaping, encouraging residents to make informed and responsible decisions. Helixians also participated in an interactive quiz segment, where the top five participants were recognised, reinforcing key takeaways in an engaging manner.
The evening concluded with bubble teas, allowing residents to continue discussions and reflect on insights gained from the session. Overall, the talk equipped our Helixians with greater awareness and confidence in making informed choices, a meaningful step towards fostering a vape-free, healthier living environment within our community.
