Baking workshop

The NUS Helix House Baking Workshop offers residents a unique opportunity to explore the art and science of baking in a hands-on and interactive environment. From traditional kueh-making to cookies baking, the workshop celebrates both heritage and creativity in the kitchen. Residents also learn to incorporate sustainable practices, such as transforming spent grains into wholesome granola, highlighting how small changes in food preparation can contribute to reducing waste.

Through these sessions, residents not only develop practical culinary skills but also gain insights into the value of mindful cooking. Engaging directly with ingredients and techniques fosters a deeper appreciation for traditional recipes, encourages experimentation, and inspires sustainable choices that can extend beyond the kitchen.
